As Bugpaw sprinted up to the head of the group he dropped Rosekit and she fell to the
ground. It was'nt a hard fall but Rosekit still felt dazed. All she saw to her
was many cats rushing into the bushes. A deafining scream snapped her from
her trance. Rosekit jolted her head upward and tottled over to the group of
cats.She saw at the front of the group to warriors: one piering over the edge and the
other climbing out of the canyon with an orange and white kitten in her mouth.
It was Birdkit. Limp. Lifeless. "Birdkit!" a high-pitched screech sounded from the
back of the group. A small kitten pushed his way through followed by Birdkits mother
"My Baby!" Birdkits mother wailed "Birdkit?"
"Awww come on wake up birdkit it's gonna be okay." Redkit said, trying to convince
himself she was asleep. "Redkit. she's gone." sagekit said padding up to her denmate.
"You don't understand. You never will." Redkit said slapping away sagekits tail
from his shoulder.
It's okay now...... you hunt with starclan now......
